Mumbai: ‘Nawab’ Saif Ali Khan seems to have suddenly become media’s favorite boy. Holding a second press conference 48 hours after the infamous brawl at a posh hotel in Mumbai, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan hogged limelight this time round, not to offer an explanation about the latest controversy he is embroiled in, but to talk about his strategic alliance with World Series Hockey.
At the event, despite an attempt to categorically debar questions pertaining to the row, when a scribe asked the actor’s take on the entire episode, Saif claimed innocence. He said, “As I have already said in my last press conference last night that there are two sides of the story. Whatever that has been reported by them (Iqbal Sharma and his father-in-law) is not exactly correct.” On being probed further, the actor tried to deflect all questions related to the assault case. He said, “I have faith in the law of court and they will be the best to decide about this case.” Last night Saif Ali Khan held a press conference at his house in Bandra on the issue of his arrest and subsequent bail in the Iqbal Sharma assault case, where he said, “I think I could have reacted to the incident using `Gandhigiri`. But that time the situation was worse. I am not saying that I am totally innocent but I was not guilty alone."
