New Delhi: Richa Chadda is fast gaining reputation as the gangster film genre`s favorite girl. Right from ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘Fukrey’ to ‘Tamanchay’, Richa has proved to be extremely lucky and has always been the first choice for roles that are being chalked out in this genre. Says a source, "While most actresses are looking for roles that are glamorous and always show them in good light, Richa is an actress who does not back the herd mentality and is keen on doing roles that push the envelope and require her to leave all inhibitions and focus on her acting. She is being approached for all the lady-gangster roles since very few have managed to find the kind of success she has in the genre". That’s the true of a capable film artist, we say.
