TN gymnasts selected for training camp

Coimbatore, June 13: Four promising gymnasts from Tamil Nadu have been selected to undergo training in a camp beginning from Jun 21 at Warangal in Andhra Pradesh.P Rahul (Chennai), Sanghavi (Salem), Vyshali (Ariyalur) and Chembakavalli (Chennai) would undergo 10 day training, Tamil Nadu Gymnastics Association president, G K S Selvakumar said in a release on Saturday.

If the four members, who received many medals and awards in various school championships, excelled in the camp, they would be selected to participate in the Commonwealth Games scheduled to be held next year in India, Selvakumar said. Bureau Report
