Gangtok: Two Sikkimese will be part of the 14-member Indian team that will participate in the 5th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship 2010 to be held at Tashkent in Uzbekistan from October 8 to 10.
Chief Coach of Sikkim Amateur Taekwondo Association (SATA) Trilok Subba and Ugyen Gurung have been selected for the 14-member Indian team, SATA sources said on Wednesday.Subba, a 6th Dan Black Belt has already represented India at the 4th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship held in Cairo last year, while the 1st Dan Ugyen is a student at Holy
Cross School here.The duo were selected after they bagged gold medals in the 5th National Taekwondo Poomsae Championship 2010 held at Surat earlier this year.
