Lilly Allen feared her ‘train wreck’ image would ruin her career

Singer Lily Allen feared her career was over when she realized she was “more a train wreck than a singer”.

London, April 22: Singer Lily Allen, who is famous for her wild partying lifestyle, feared her career was over when she realized she was “more a train wreck than a singer”.Though Lily has always defended her not so sane lifestyle, she admitted that it made her rethink her capabilities, reports a news daily.
Speaking about her first album Alright, Still in 2006, she said: “I took a bit of a beating from the press first time around. I became more famous for being a train wreck than a singer. I didn’t think I was capable of writing songs and making music.”
However, the beauty still maintains that she is not “fall-down drunk,” an “exhibitionist” and “crazy” as claimed by the media. “Young women are represented in a way that isn’t true. If a girl is seen having a drink she’s a drunk. If that happens with a guy it’s not portrayed the same way,” Lily added. ANI
