A total of 1,19,164 students appeared for the class 12 exams out of which 95,645 girls passed.

Uttarakhand Board UBSE 10th, 12th Result 2020 declared: Details on uaresults.nic.in, ubse.uk.gov.in

New Delhi: Putting an end to the anxious wait by the students, Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) announced the class 10th and 12th Board exam results on Wednesday (July 29). The official announcement of the UK Board Results 2020 class 10th and class 12th are now available on the website of the Uttarakhand Board - ubse.uk.gov.in. 

Details of class 10 results

A total of 113226 students passed the class 10 exams while 33907 failed. A total of 95679 students passed the class 12 exams while 23479 failed. The Total Pass percentage was at 76.91 percent and girls outperformed boys. Girls pass percentage was at 82.65 percent and boys pass percentage was at 71.39 percent.

Gaurav Saklani of of Tehri Garhwal topped the class 10 exams securing 98.2 percentage. He scored 491 out of 500 marks. Jigyasa of Kashipur, U S nagar secured the second position getting 97.80 percent. She scored 489 out of 500 marks.


Details of class 12 results

A total of 1,19,164 students appeared for the class 12 exams out of which 95,645 girls passed. Girls outshone boys in the class 12 board exams. The pass percentage of boys was 76.68 percent while 83.63 percent girls passed the class 12 exams. The total pass percentage stood at 80.26 percent.

Jaspur’s Beauty Watsal topped the class 12 exams by scoring 483 out of 500 marks, scoring 96.60 percent. Nainital’s Yugal Joshi secured the second position, scoring 95.40 percent (477 marks). The third position was secured by Rahul Yadav, Sarthak Maithani, Depak Sati, Mukesh Upadhayay and Vaibhav Thapliyal, scoring 95 percent (475 marks).

The Uttarakhand UK Board Results 2020 for class 10th and class 12th can be checked by the students online by simply logging in at ubse.uk.gov.in. After logging in at the website, one needs to enter one's credentials and some more simple click to get one's scorecard online.

Students who appeared in class 10th and class 12th board exams 2020 of the Uttarakhand Board are advised to keep logging in at the given website for the latest update. They are also advised to keep their admit cards or hall tickets issued by the board to check their results.

The ongoing board exams which was scheduled to conclude in March was postponed due to the coronavirus country wide lockdown. The pending papers were conducted from June 22 to 24.

The pending exams were – major papers like Mathematics, Sanskrit for class 10, while subjects 12 it was Biology, Geography, Physics, Mathematics, Sociology were left.

Students need to score at least 33 per cent marks in each subject to pass in the exam and obtain an aggregate score of 40 per cent. Last year, 74.57 per cent students cleared the class 10 examination, while, around 73 per cent cleared the class 12 examinations.

Nearly 3 lakh students appeared for the UBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations this year. Out of the 3 lakh candidates who had appeared for the exams, around 1.5 lakh students for the High School or class 10 exam, while for the intermediate or class 12 exams as many as 1.35 lakh students appeared.
