Congress releases list of candidates for Lok Sabha poll, Subodh Kant Sahay fielded from Jharkhand's Ranchi

The Congress late on Tuesday night released a list comprising of 20 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The list consists of six constituencies from Punjab, four seats from Gujarat, three from Jharkhand, two each from Karnataka and Odisha, one each from Himachal Pradesh and D&N Haveli.

Pawan Kumar Bansal will be Congress candidate from Chandigarh and Subodh Kant Sahay has been fielded from Ranchi, Jharkhand.

In Gujarat, CJ Chavda will contest from the Gandhinagar seat, Geetaben Patel from the Ahmedabad East seat, Somabhai Patel from Surendranagar constituency and Murubhai Kandoriya from Jamnagar seat.

The Congress has fielded Subodh Kant Sahay from Jharkhand's Ranchi seat, Geeta Kora from Singhbhum-ST seat, and Sukgdeo Bhagat from the Lohardaga-ST seat.

Vinay Kulkarni will contest from Karnataka's Dharwad seat and HB Manjappa from Davanagere constituencies.

The party has also fielded Manas Jena from Odisha's Jajpur SC seat and Panchanan Kanungo from Cuttack seat.

Sunil Jakhar will contest from Punjab's Gurdaspur, Gurjit Singh Aujla from Amritsar seat, Santokh Singh Chaudhary from Jalandhar-SC seat, Rajkumar Chabbewal from Hoshiarpur-SC, Ravneet Singh Bittu from Ludhiana seat and Preneet Kaur from the Patiala seat.

From Chandigarh's Chandigarh seat Pawan Kumar Bansal will fight the poll. Prabhu Ratnabhai Tokiya will contest from D&N Haveli (ST) seat in D&N Haveli.
