Mumbai: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged victorious in the Maharashtra civic polls.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the BJP team in Maharashtra after it notched spectacular victories, bagging eight of the 10 major civic bodies.
