Hyderabad: This story will surely warm your hearts.

Hyderabad lady police constables on Tuesday helped a woman deliver a baby on the road.

As per ANI, a makeshift labour room was setup for the delivery.

Other media reports said that at about noon, a police inspector, Bheem Reddy, heading a station in Hyderabad got a distress call which apparently said that a woman was in labour opposite Shanti Theatre.

The inspector then dispatched a women constables team - Sharadha, Shoba, Jyothi and Divya - to the site, who realised that it was too late to shift the woman.

Thus, a makeshift labour room was set up with sarees and bedsheets on the side of the road.

In order to control the crowd and give the woman privacy, the policemen stood guard.

Then came the good news - It was a boy.

Later the baby and the mother were shifted to a nearby government hospital.
