YSR Congress MLA Jayaramulu joins TDP in Andhra Pradesh
Yet another MLA of opposition YSR Congress quit the party and joined the ruling Telugu Desam in Andhra Pradesh here on Wednesday.

Vijayawada: Yet another MLA of opposition YSR Congress quit the party and joined the ruling Telugu Desam in Andhra Pradesh here on Wednesday.
T Jayaramulu, MLA from Badvel in Kadapa district, native of YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, met Chief Minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and defected to the ruling party.
With this, the total number of YSRC MLAs to switch sides has gone to five. Four MLAs had deserted the party two days ago. A Legislative Council member also defected from YSRC to TDP.
Jayaramulu said he joined the TDP only for the sake of "development" of his constituency, Badvel.
"I am attracted by the development of the state by the Chief Minister and hence joined the TDP. I will do justice to the people of my constituency through development," he said.
