Bihar: Kidnapped PGCIL engineer`s body found

Body of a junior engineer of PGCIL Bikrama Thakur, kidnapped allegedly by his driver, was recovered from Lahurabari village.

Sasaram: Body of a junior engineer of
PGCIL Bikrama Thakur, kidnapped allegedly by his driver in
Gopalganj district a week back, was recovered from Lahurabari
village in Bihar`s Kaimur district on Sunday.

Rohtas SP Manu Maharaj said police seized an abandoned
car at a place under Pochas police station in Rohtas, three
days` ago.

Police had recovered a bank slip from the vehicle and
later arrested a person Shree Ram Paswan.

Maharaj said police gathered vital clues from Shreeram
and recovered the body of the junior engineer in neighbouring
Kaimur district.

The SP said the investigation revealed that the dirver
of the junior engineer of PowerGrid Corporation of India Ltd
(PGCIL - Pusauli) had kidnapped him while coming to Kaimur
from Bhore in Gopalganj district a week ago.

Maharaj said the Jitender Paswan had withdrawn Rs
1.20 lakh using the ATM of the junior engineer.

Police recovered Rs 51,500 from Shreeram Paswan
who gave the lead about the incident.
Jitendra Paswan was absconding.
