Park in memory of Chandrashekhar: Nitish Kumar

Patna: A park would be constructed in memory
of former prime minister Chandrasekhar by Bihar government,
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Saturday.
``The state government will soon construct a park in the
memory of the veteran socialist,`` he told a function
organised on the occasion of 84th birth anniversary of
Chandrasekhar by state JD(U) sports cell.
He said a life-size statue of the veteran leader would
also be set up in the park.

State JD(U) president Vijay Choudhary and former Rajya
Sabha member Bashishtha Narain Singh also spoke at the
function.
