Power drunk? Chhattisgarh BJP MLA abuses helpless tribal vendors, kicks vegetables in anger - WATCH

BJP leader Abhilash Tiwari used abusive language against vendors.

Raipur: We have seen many politicians, who are considered to be the representatives of the people, often harass the common man and display their power on the downtrodden. A similar incident from Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district has come to the fore.

Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Abhilash Tiwari was caught on camera kicking the vegetables of adivasi vendors sitting on the roadside. Reports say that the BJP leader also used abusive language against some of them.

The incident happened when MLA Abhilash was touring Geedam Nagar area. Seeing the adivasis selling vegetables on the roadside, the BJP leader got agitated and started kicking the vegetables.

The shameful video went viral on various social networking websites. After much criticism the MLA apologised.

Abhilash is the son of former state minister Vijay Tiwari.
