AAP MLA drops another sex bomb, accuses party leaders of seeking sexual favours

New Delhi: In the midst of a raging controversy over a sex CD involving an AAP minister, another potentially damaging revelation could spell further trouble for the embattled party.

In a shocking revelation, an AAP MLA has alleged that the party leaders have sought sexual favours from women ticket aspirants.

MLA retired Colonel Devinder Sehrawat on Sunday charged AAP leaders of asking sexual favours for party tickets in the 2017 Punjab assembly elections.

Sehrawat has named Sanjay Singh, a close confidante of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, and its political affairs committee member Durgesh Pathak and a few others in his statement, news18.com reported.

The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday decided to file a defamation case against Colonel Sehrawat for making the allegations.

The party has claimed that Sehrawat has made these allegations without any evidence.

"The allegations are so absurd and baseless that we do not even want to respond to them. He has to get proof before talking like that," the report quoted Singh as saying.

Sehrawat reportedly claimed that he has received "disturbing reports" of women being "exploited" in Punjab with promises of election tickets from AAP.

He said that he has written a letter to anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare for his intervention in the matter.

He also claimed that the information he had was "generic".

The fresh allegation comes just a day after sacked AAP minister Sandeep Kumar was formally arrested for allegedly sexually exploiting a woman in return for a ration card.
