Minor raped by neighbour

New Delhi: A minor girl was raped by her neighbour here on the pretext of giving some valuables, police said Monday. The 20-year-old accused, who is absconding, took the girl, 12, from her school to a secluded place in the Aman Vihar area Saturday afternoon and sexually assaulted her.

"The victim somehow reached home and informed her parents about the ordeal," said a police officer. The victim was rushed to a hospital where she is being treated, the officer said. "A case regarding the incident has been registered and hunt is on to nab the culprit," he added.
