New Delhi: Another high voltage drama was witnessed in Delhi Assembly on Tuesday when BJP MLA Vijender Gupta tore off the VAT amendment papers presented by the AAP-led government in the Budget Session.

Gupta, who was protesting against the VAT Amendment Bill, tore off the papers, threw them in the air and staged a walkout along with other two BJP MLAs.

Meanwhile, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that BJP did not allow them to discuss the bill properly.

“Now if they (BJP) don't understand VAT Amendment Bill what can we do? Before we could discuss the bill they left,” Sisodia was quoted as saying by ANI

In the beginning of the Budget Session, all three BJP MLAs were marshalled out of Delhi Assembly after they rushed into the Well of the House and shouted slogans demanding implementation of the Fourth Delhi Finance Commission recommendations.

The BJP MLAs -- Vijender Gupta, O P Sharma and Jagdish Pradhan -- were evicted from the House after they trooped to the Well and raised slogans.

Speaker Ram Niwas Goel had instructed marshals to take them out of the Assembly and continued the budget proceeding.
