Shocking videos from terror-struck Nice: The white truck ploughed into crowd and screams filled the air

Terrified revellers screamed as a truck careered into a crowd of fireworks spectators in the French resort of Nice, turning Bastille Day celebrations into a night of horror.

Shocking footages have surfaced showing the white truck plunging two kilometres (1.3 miles) along the palm-fringed beachfront, mowing people down in its wake.

At least 80 people have been killed in what French President Francois Hollande has branded a terrorist attack.
