Prince joins forces with US retailer for album release

Prince has sealed a deal with a major retailer for the release of his latest album.

London, March 04: Prince has sealed a deal with a major retailer for the release of his latest album. The seven-time Grammy Award-winner will have his three-disc set sold exclusively through Target stores in the US.
The album contains two original studio collections called LOtUSFLOW3R and MPLSoUND, along with the third disc, labelled Elixer, by his protégé Bria Valente. The new collection will be up for grabs in stores from March 29 at the price of 11.98 dollars, reports the BBC. The 50-year-old had previously allowed a showcase of four new songs on a LA radio station while some others were made available for a preview on the Internet. With the latest move, the veteran performer joins rockers AC/DC and Bruce Springsteen who have also in the past released their albums exclusively with retail giants. ANI
