Madonna won`t let me see Mercy, complains father

London, April 20: The biological father of Mercy James, the four year old Malawian girl superstar Madonna wants to adopt, has claimed that the singer has ordered her aides to keep his daughter away from him.James Kambewa said that when he went to meet his daughter at an orphanage in Malawi, he realised that the singer aide`s had taken away the child under orders from the singer, reported Daily Mirror online.

"I don`t have money and influence like Madonna, but I do have something that she doesn`t... I am the child`s flesh and blood. "I`m sure Madonna thinks she has my daughter`s best interests at heart, but here in Malawi we value more than just money and power," said Kambewa. According to relatives, Mercy is being looked after by a nanny at luxury Kumbali Lodge, where Madonna stayed earlier this month during her visit to the country. James now 24 had walked out on Mercy`s mother when she got pregnant at and has never seen his daughter, but now that he earns a living as a watchman, wants to have her in his life. Bureau Report
