Dharamshala: Visitors to the famous trekking point Triund up in the Dhauladhar range of Himalayas were in for surprise when they tried to connect to a mobile network.
As per a report in the TOI, trekkers found that mobile network of a Pakistani mobile network 'Zong' was available for connection at Triund. Zong is belived to be headquartered in Islamabad.
Triund Hill is located at a height of 2,842 meters above sea level. It is accessible on foot and is located at a distance of about 13 kilometers from McLeodganj near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh.
The report adds that a police team visited Triund after they were informed of the disturbing presence at Triund.
The police remain tight lipped about the incident but assured that the matter is being probed.
