Patna: Panic broke out on Wednesday in Patna as people started evacuating their houses after earthquake tremors were felt in the Bihar capital.

The panic was triggered by the Myanmar earthquake.

Reportedly, tremors were also felt in Kolkata and Guwahati.

According to European Mediterranean Seismological Centre, earthquake tremors of magnitude 6.8 were felt 190 km SW of Mandalay (Myanmar), at 91km depth.
