New Delhi: Emaar MGF Land Ltd on Wednesday reiterated that the allegations against the company as levied by Bharatiya Janata Party MP Kirit Somaiya are completely false, baseless and malicious in nature.
While denying having any business links with Rahul Gandhi's aide Kanishka Singh, the real estate company said the company had sold two shops in Metropolitan Saket Mall to Congress vice president on 06 December 2005.
However, the shops were never leased nor bought back by the company from Rahul Gandhi at any time, Emaar MGF clarified.
Emaar MGF's statement comes after Somaiya accused Kanishka Singh of holding shares in Emaar MGF, which he said also had Guido Ralph Haschke as its director.
Haschke's name figures in connection with the AgustaWestland chopper deal.
Hashke's name surfaced in a judgment of an Italian court regarding payment of bribes in the sale of AgustaWestland choppers in India.
Somaiya has alleged that Rahul and his aide Kanishka Singh were connected to Guido Haschke.
