 Jammu and Kashmir police today carried out a major reshuffle of mid-rung officers and transferred 46 DSPs.

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police today carried out a major reshuffle of mid-rung officers and transferred 46 DSPs.

Director General of Police K Rajendra Kumar ordered the transfers of 46 Deputy Superintendents of Polices with immediate effect, an official spokesman said.

Most of the transfers were made in the CID, the intelligence wing of the state police, he said.

The transferred officials include Feroz Ahmad, posted as Deputy SP of CID Counter-Intelligence in Srinagar, Mumtaz Ali, DSP JKAP 9th Battalion was transferred and posted as DSP of JIC, Jammu replacing Zahid Saif Wani who was shifted to Home Guard Samba, the spokesman said.
