New Delhi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has one of the biggest official residence among politicians in the country. President and Vice-President are the only with a bigger residence than the Congress President's 10 Janpath bungalow in New Delhi's Lutyen's zone.
According to the information obtained by Dev Ashish Bhattacharya throught an RTI application, Gandhi's residence is spread over 15,181 sq m while the PM Narendra Modi 's residence at 7RCR is smaller at 14,101 sq m.
Rashtrapati Bhavan is the largest property with an area of about 320 acres. It is also one of the largest properties for a head of the state in the world.
The Vice-President's residence at 6 Maulana Azad Road spreads over an area of about 26,333.49 sq m.
