Nashik Kumbh Mela: Sadhu dies following heart attack

Nashik: A 75-year-old sadhu, who was residing at the 'Sadhu Gram' here for the Kumbh Mela, died after he suffered a heart attack, police said today.

The deceased identified as Gauribaba suffered a heart attack last night and was rushed to the civil hospital where he was declared dead, an official of the Adgoan police station said.

A case has been registered in this connection and the body has been handed over to his relatives, they said.

The Kumbh Mela, the largest congregation of Hindus, started from July 15 in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar.
