Army busts militant hideout in Doda

Jammu: Army troops on Sunday busted a militant hideout and recovered a cache of weapons, ammunition and explosive material in Jammu and Kashmir`s Doda district.

Based on intelligence inputs, a joint column of 159 Infantry Battalion and Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation in Phuklan Top and busted the natural cave-hideout, an Army officer said.

One .303 rifle with one magazine, 13 rounds of sniper rifle ammunition, one IED switch were among the seizure from the hideout, he said.
