Bhopal: Northern and Eastern Madhya Pradesh
continued to reel under intense cold wave with mercury dipping
to a low of two degrees in some parts of the state.
Gwalior recorded the minimum temperature of 3.2 degree
Celsius. Places like Rewa, Umaria, Khajuraho, Naugaon and
Datia remained the coldest with the minimum temperature
dropping to two degrees. This prompted authorities to issue
low temperature warning for the area.
On the other hand, temperatures in western and southern
Madhya Pradesh including Bhopal remained above the normal
mark. Indore and Bhopal recorded a temperature of 10.8 degree
Celsius which was one degree above normal.
