MP revenue official gets notice for pro-Modi post on Facebook

Bhopal: A tehsildar (revenue officer) in Madhya Pradesh has received an official notice for posting pro-Modi messages on Facebook.

The official was taking pot-shots at “secularists and those with Congress mindset” for their supposed inability to digest anything that is said in the Prime Minister’s praise, the news18.com reported.

This comes, days after an IAS officer in the state was transferred for a similar act.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Ratlam tehsildar Amita Singh reportedly claimed that during PM's visit to Afghanistan recently “Muslims carried the tricolour and chanted Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram", which infuriated “people with Congress mindset”.
