EC appoints four general observers for Thane LS seats

The Election Commission appointed observers for the four Lok Sabha segments in Thane district for the April 24 elections.

Thane: The Election Commission on Friday appointed observers for the four Lok Sabha segments in Thane district for the April 24 elections. These four will be the general observers, besides the four appointed earlier as expenditure observers by the Commission, official sources said here.

The observers, appointed from the IAS cadre of different states, are - KP Rahi (from MP for Palghar Lok Sabha constituency), Bishwanath Sinha (from Delhi for Bhiwandi LS seat), Ashish Vacchani (from Delhi for Kalyan LS seat) and Vandana Dadel (from Jharkhand for Thane LS seat), sources added.
