High alert at Mumbai airport; IM to hijack plane to free Bhatkal?

Security at the Mumbai Airport has been tightened keeping in view Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s scheduled visit to the financial capital on August 16.

Zee Media Bureau Mumbai: Security at the Mumbai Airport has been tightened keeping in view Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s scheduled visit to the financial capital on August 16. At the same time, security arrangements has been put on high alert at the airport. As per inputs that has been accessed by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, terrorists might try to hijack an airplane in order to seek the release of arrested IM operative Yasin Bhatkal, reports said. It is also being said that the terrorists might try to enter an aeroplane via smaller airports too. Also, the airport authority has been asked to monitor the schedule of all helicopters and planes. Keeping this in view no one will be allowed entry in the visitor`s gallery in the Mumbai airport till August 20.
