NCP minister RR Patil's ashes immersed in Arabian sea

The ashes of former Maharashtra deputy chief minister RR Patil were immersed in Arabian sea off Mumbai coast on Monday.

Mumbai: The ashes of former Maharashtra deputy chief minister RR Patil were immersed in Arabian sea off Mumbai coast on Monday.

NCP state unit President Sunil Tatkare, leader of opposition in Legislative Council Dhananjay Munde immersed the ashes which were earlier kept at the party office.

Patil passes away in a Mumbai hospital on February 16 after battling oral cancer. He was cremated at his village Anjani the next day with state honours.
