Mumbai: In a new revelation, in the ongoing saga of Sheena Bora murder case, Indrani Mukerjea's daughter Vidhie told the investigating agency that her mother was divorcing Peter, as per a media report.
According to CNN IBN, Vidhie told CBI that Indrani never liked Rahul Mukerjea and blamed him for for creating suspicion.
Vidhie further told the CBI that when she asked Indrani if Sheena was her daughter, Indrani scolded her.
Not only this, Vidhie also reportedly told the investigating agencies that Indrani was divorcing former media tycoon Peter Mukerjea.
The report further says that Vidhie got an e-mail on August 28,2012 which was supposedly from Sheena.
She received another e-mail, apparently fake, on January 27, 2013.
Meanwhile, CBI questioned Rahul Mukerjea yesterday, who handed over several documents allegedly used by Sheena Bora to 'blackmail' her mother Indrani Mukerjea, who is accused of murdering her.
Rahul is Peter's son from an earlier marriage.
According to investigators, Sheena, who was engaged to Rahul, was blackmailing Indrani that if she did not give her a 3 BHK flat in the city, she would expose her by telling people that she was Indrani's daughter and not sister, as the latter had claimed, as per PTI.
Peter, now also an accused in the case was arrested on November 19.
Apart from Peter and Indrani, other accused in the case are the latter's former husband Sanjeev Khanna and former driver Shyamvar Rai who have been remanded to judicial custody till December 3.
Vidhie is Indrani and Sanjeev Khanna's biological daughter.
