Lucknow, Nov 25: The judicial remand of former state
minister Amarmani Tripathi, the main accused in Madhumita
Shukla murder case, was today extended till December 9 even as
his elusive wife moved the court seeking recall of non-bailable
warrants issued against her.

As his judicial remanded expired, Tripathi was produced
before the special judicial magistrate (CBI) R M Yadav, who
extended the remand till December nine next.

Madhumani, the wife of Tripathi, today moved an
application before the court praying for recall of its order
yesterday issuing a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) against her.

The court fixed November 28 as the next date of hearing.

She pleaded in her application that the NBW was issued
against her without giving her an opportunity to be heard.

The court had yesterday issued a NBW against Madhumani
on an application moved by CBI alleging that she failed to
appear before the agency despite being served several notices.
