AP CM meets Vajpayee, expresses reservations over Cow Bill

New Delhi, Aug 21: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today met Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and is understood to have expressed reservations over government's move to enact an anti-cow slaughter bill.

TDP sources said that Naidu was "not in favour"
of government "rushing" through with such a bill.

Naidu pleaded for a wider discussion among alliance
partners and supporting parties as the matter was sensitive,
the sources said.
