The CBI is likely to file a chargesheet against former animal husbandry director Beck Julius in the multi-crore fodder scam case in a Jharkhand court in a day or two, agency sources said in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Following sanction from Jharkhand governor Prabhat Kumar, CBI has almost finalised the process of filing the chargesheet in a case involving fraudulent withdrawals of Rs 182 crore from Doranda treasury between 1991-96 by a host of AHD officials and suppliers through forged and fake allotment letters.
Jharkhand CBI DIG Rakesh Asthana is in Kolkata to give final touches to the chargesheet in consultation with the agency's Additional Director U N Biswas.
