Washington: Hugh Hefner, who was dumped by Crystal Harris just days before their wedding, has defended his decision for getting a girlfriend so soon.

Hefner, who had introduced his new love, playmate Shera Bechard, on his Twitter page, received backlash for taking on a new relationship so soon.
