Every border post to have satellite phone: Paswan

All border posts would be provided with satellite phones to help service personnel maintain contacts with their family members, Union Communications Minister Ram Vilas Paswan said in Jaipur on Tuesday.

"I have asked the defence minister to submit a proposal for such telephony to the telecommunication ministry for implementing the project", he said.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said the state government had extended all facilities to private telephone operators to spread communication network on priority basis.
