Jammu, Feb 25: The state unit of Nationalist Congress Party today welcomed the appointment of N N Vohra as the Centre's new interlocutor for Jammu and Kashmir, saying the experienced bureaucrat is expected to do full justice to his new assignment.
"Vohra is an experienced and seasoned bureaucrat and is expected to do full justice to his new assignment," state NCP President Randhir Singh said here.
Singh expressed the hope that Vohra will soon start his mission of talking to the elected representatives as also representatives of all political parties in the state.
He said intellectuals and social workers from all three regions of the state should also be involved in the process by Vohra.
