No firing on borders in J&K: Defence spokesman

Jammu, Nov 27: There was no firing on the borders in Jammu and Kashmir since last evening, a defence spokesman said here today.
Describing the situation on International Border, Line of Control (LoC) and Actual Ground Position Line (AGPL) in Jammu and Kashmir as "quiet", the spokesman said, "If Pakistani
troops resort to firing, then we will also retaliate".

Welcoming the decision of ceasefire by Pakistan, he said the troops have also been directed to take all steps to prevent any kind of infiltration along the borders.
