Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 27: BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu today said a meaningful dialogue with Pakistan to improve the relationship could be possible only if that country stop aiding cross-border terrorism.
"We are very clear. BJP wanted to have friendly relations with neighbouring countries, including Pakistan. But, one could only have a meaningful dialogue, if Pakistan stops aiding cross-border terrorism," Naidu told reporters at the airport on his way to Kollam and Panthanamthitta to attend party functions.
Stating that Pakistan does not really want peace and were not sincere in taking the hands of friendship offered by Vajpayee, Naidu said because of international public opinion, Pakistan made declaration that "they are willing to talk to
India".

"But they were not sincere in that," he said and asked otherwise how could anybody explain yesterday's attack on All India Radio station at Srinagar and attack on an Jammu and Kashmir minister.
"These are all acts of Pakistan inspired different terrorist organisations," Naidu said.
