Sonia speaks to Pawar ahead of crucial NCP meet

New Delhi, Jan 14: Ahead of the crucial NCP meeting
to discuss electoral alliance and strategy for the coming Lok
Sabha polls, Congress president Sonia Gandhi spoke to NCP
president Sharad Pawar this morning.

Gandhi rang up Pawar and talked to him, party spokesman
Anand Sharma told reporters here.

Pawar extended an invitation to Gandhi for tea to discuss
political situation and other related matters, Sharma said,
adding she has accepted the NCP leader's invitation.
