Seven killed, 18 injured in separate road mishaps in Rajasthan

Seven persons were killed and 18 others injured in separate road accidents in Rajasthan's Churu and Jaisalmer districts, police said Tuesday.

Bikaner/Jaisalmer: Seven persons were killed and 18 others injured in separate road accidents in Rajasthan's Churu and Jaisalmer districts, police said Tuesday.

Three persons were killed and six injured when a car collided with an SUV near Ghantel village in Churu last night, they said.

Car occupants, Jagga Singh and Satnam Singh, both aged 25 years and Gafoor Khan, who was travelling in the SUV, died in the incident, police said, adding, the injured were admitted to a local hospital.

In Jaisalmer, four persons, including a woman, were killed and 12 injured in separate road accidents.

A 16-year-old-boy died when an SUV hit him on Jethwai road while 27-year-old Karan was killed when a truck in which he was travelling collided with another vehicle in Khetolai area.

In another incident, Kamla (24) died when her car overturned near Pokaran area while ten-year-old boy Udaram was hit by a water tanker leaving him dead in Ramgarh area.

12 people, who were injured in these mishaps, were rushed to local hospitals , police said.
