Jaipur: Rich tributes were today paid
here to gallant soldiers of the Indian armed forces, who laid
down their lives fighting for the nation and achieved historic
victory over Pakistan.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Lieutenant
General C K S Sabu, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of
South Western Command along with other defence officers laid
wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti here at an official ceremony
held to commemorate the occasion.
Senior state officers were also present on the
occasion.
