Seven killed in bus collision in Rajasthan

Seven passengers were today killed and 24 others injured when two private buses turned turtle after colliding with each other at Ramsinghpur, about 125 kms away from Sriganganagar, an official said.

 The deceased were identified as Sohanlal, 55 yrs, Hansram, 28, Ganesharam, 60, Banna, 25, Shravankumar 19, Krishna, 30, and Pappuram, 28 years, the police said.

 The incident occurred around 10.30 am when one of the buses, on the way from Sangaria to Ravwali, collided with the other coming from the opposite direction, killing seven passengers and injuring 24 others, Circle Officer Himanshu told PTI.

 While ten of the injured were admitted to Ghadsana's Primary Health Centre, 12 were referred to Bikaner's PBM hospital, he said adding that the remaining two passengers were taken to the local hospital in Ramsinghpur.

 However, the drivers of both vehicles escaped unhurt, he added.
