Bangladesh's former prime minister Khaleda Zia has called a meeting of her 20-party opposition alliance on Sunday night.

Dhaka: Bangladesh's former prime minister Khaleda Zia has called a meeting of her 20-party opposition alliance on Sunday night.

The meeting will be held at Khaleda's Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) office in capital Dhaka, Xinhua news agency reported.

This is the second meeting of Khaleda Zia's BNP-led 20-party opposition alliance since it launched its movement against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's government in January.

The latest political situation, deterioration in the law and order situation, power and gas price hike and the next course of action for the opposition alliance were expected to be discussed in the meeting with the chiefs of her allies.
