Islamabad, Nov 06: Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf today said his country wanted to find a just settlement of Kashmir issue through substantive talks with India and hoped that New Delhi would join Islamabad in drawing a roadmap for durable peace in South Asia.
"We have urged India to resume substantive talks with Pakistan for finding a just and peaceful settlement of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, and we hope that India will join
Pakistan in drawing a roadmap for durable peace in South Asia," he said addressing a state banquet in Seoul, hosted in his honour by South Korean President Roh Moo-Hyun.

Claiming that Pakistan favoured a dialogue in seeking solutions to conflicts and disputes, he said, "We believe that any durable solution must be acceptable to the parties concerned, and it is imperative that peace be founded on justice, sovereignty and equality and cemented by
international law and universal moral norms."

Referring to the situation in the Korean peninsula, he said Pakistan fully supports the efforts for finding a peaceful solution to the crisis in the region, official media reports said here.

Musharraf had a one-hour meeting with Roh Moo-Hyun during which the leaders discussed nuclear crisis, bilateral relations, and trade issues.
