Pakistani media reports say that a massive exercise is currently on to identify and weed out the corrupt elements from within the civil bureaucracy, but the military regime has not initiated even a single case against any official serving in the two top offices or the divisions of Information Technology and telecommunication.`
'The News' said that the corrupt bureaucrats have been identified from divisions like defence, railways and communications which have initiated action against over 4600, 3100 and 3000 officials respectively.
