TN to get seven new traffic police stations

The new traffic stations will come up in Mamallapuram
(Kancheepuram), Tiruthiraipoondi (Tiruvarur), Tiruthangal
(Viridhunagar), Bodinayakkanur (Theni) and Padmanabhapuram
(Kanyakumari), a release said.

The government ordered to create 80 new vacancies for five
inspectors, 10 sub inspectors, 15 head constables, 15 Grade I
constables, 30 Grade II constables and five Grade II drivers
to serve in these stations.

As for Chennai, two traffic police stations will come up
in Valasaravakkam and Chemmencherry, it said.

The government will create 32 new vacancies including two
inspectors, four sub inspectors, six head constables, six
Grade I constables, 12 Grade II constables, two Grade II
drivers.

The Chief Minister also ordered to a All Terrain Motor
Cycle to each of the 12 stations and a All Terrain Jeep to
Coastal Security Group.
