Ballia: A 50-year-old woman was allegedly raped in Rewati area here, police said on Saturday.
The accused has been identified as Sunil Yadav, said SP Aneesh Ansari.
The victim, who was raped on Thursday, has been sent for medical examination, he said, adding that a case has been registered against the accused and the matter is being investigated.
