Lucknow: Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Saturday exhorted party workers to concentrate on apprising the people about the various welfare schemes of the state government in their respective areas so as to ensure the success of `Mission 2014` of the party.
Addressing workers at the SP headquarters here, Yadav asked them to remain in touch with officials in their districts instead of approaching Lucknow all the time for their works and assured that their voice on relevant issues would be heard and legitimate works would be done.
He advised the workers to contact district officials like the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police in connection with the problems of common people and find solutions.
The prestige of Samajwadi Party has increased with the formation of majority government in the state for the first time and it has been made possible because of the hardwork the party cadre and trust of the masses in its policies, he said.
The party president also assured that the state government would fulfill all the promises made in its election manifesto.
